Glaswegian Skyline

I absolutely adore London, as some of you may know, but it’s also great to escape and explore another great city. Last weekend I had the pleasure of exploring Glasgow, which I haven’t visited since I was about 6 years old, and it was much more memorable this time around! With so much to see, do, eat, drink and photograph (I did plenty of them all) it was tough cramming everything in we wanted to do, but we managed a fair bit!

In the city centre is a wonderful Charles Rennie Mackintosh building called the Lighthouse. Entry is free and inside are fantastic models of the architects built and unbuilt designs, which are scattered around the city, and the country. Not only is it a great little museum, it also has a tall tower (with no lift!), which you can climb. Although I was a panting wreck by the time I got to the top, the views were most certainly worth it…
